Markward Knights' Tent, 5 x 8 m, 425 g/m2, natural colour
Last items in stock
Markward's Knight's Tent, 5 x 8 m
This square medieval tent offers enough space for any purpose, whether as a medieval market stall, canopy or sun protection cover (no sidewalls) or as a sleeping tent for about 8 occupants with their belongings and equipment. The all-round valance makes it a real eye-catcher. With a few helping hands, the tent can be assembled and disassembled quickly. Due to the high side walls, you have enough space wherever you are. This rider's tent is truly versatile. The two individually detachable sidewalls can be easily removed or fixed with hooks and eyelets and give you the freedom to leave one side or the other open, or simply leave both walls out and use the tent as a canopy.
The Markward knight's tent is treated against mold and mildew. Thanks to its particular fabric (twill), the 100% cotton canvas is exceptionally tear-resistant and virtually water-proof, making this medieval tent an indispensable piece of equipment for medieval markets, military camps or LARP events.
Our tents and tarpaulins have already been waterproofed. To maintain/restore the water repellency of your tent or tarpaulin and enjoy its use for a long time, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, e.g. PLUVONIN .
The tent is supplied in complete set, i.e. with poles and accessories.

The tent is equipped with a convenient zipper door, and the bottom edge closes completely with a grass cloth. Three sealable openings in the ceiling as well as in the side walls provide adequate ventilation. Thanks to its particular weave (twill), the 100% cotton canvas is exceptionally tear-resistant and virtually waterproof to water. Our LARP Merglin tent is the perfect starter model for those who want to maintain the proper atmosphere of the camp. However, please note that neither its design and construction, nor the materials used are suitable for a historically authentic representation.Details:- Dimensions: approx. 3 m / 4 m in diameter- Center height: approx. 2.30 m / 2.50 m- Fabric: 100% cotton, 340 g/m² (3 meters), 425 g/m² (4 meters) (g/m²), waterproofed and treated against mold and mildew- Color: natural- Weight: approx. 16.5 kg / 21 kgThe complete LARP tent is shipped in one package. The scope of delivery includes a sectional vertical pole made of metal, a metal sectional door frame, support ropes with tensioners, as well as tent stakes.Remark: Our Merglin group tent is available in two different sizes. The photos show the Ø 4 m version. All measurements are approximate and may differ from the actual product supplied.Important information about assembly, handling and maintenance of our historic tents:You can extend the life of your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, Knight's tent, medieval tent, commercial tent or medieval market stall and enjoy its use for a longer time by observing the following precautions:
Setting up the tent is a relatively easy task that can be completed quickly and stress-free thanks to the loop system. The posts can be adjusted in length to suit your needs. When assembling the tent, make sure that the ropes connecting the roof angles and the stakes continuously follow the lines of the tent seams and that the stakes are properly aligned with the bottom corners or loops of the tent. Do not overstretch the ropes , as natural materials such as wood or cotton change under the influence of air humidity and need room to contract and expand. You can prevent, for example, the roof holes for the poles from being distended and ultimately making it easier for water to enter. We recommend loosening the ropes a little at night, as the humidity in the air increases considerably at night and can increase the risk of excessive stress exerted on your tent. The ropes should also be loosened a little in rain or high atmospheric humidity.
When assembling the side wall, it is best to start from the opening side of the tent. As an additional preventive measure against moisture and mold, the walls of the tent should not touch the ground as much as possible (this does not apply to tents with tarpaulin). If the tent has been exposed to moisture, we strongly recommend that you dry it after use, as otherwise it is likely to mold. Wooden poles should never be wrapped in plastic or anything like that. Once the poles are dry, a cotton cloth is perfectly sufficient. Do not, under any circumstances, use detergents or any other cleaning products to clean your tent. The best way to remove dried dirt is to use a brush. As for storing your tent for a long period of time, separate all the accessories (stakes, ropes, etc.) from the tent itself and preferably pack everything separately. Make sure all items are dry and stored in a dry place.

Medieval Round Tent, 5 m diameter, 425 g/m², natural colourThis medieval tent is a low-cost yet spacious and functional tent suitable for military camps, medieval markets or LARP events. The rider's tent is adorned with a valance around it. The bottom edge closes with a grass cloth that keeps wind, dirt, and dust out. The separate sidewall only needs to be connected to the ceiling by means of small hooks. The medieval tent can also be used as a canopy by simply leaving the side wall out. The tents are handmade, which gives them an authentic look on the one hand, but can also result in one or two minor defects on the other hand. Cotton is a natural material that reacts differently depending on various outdoor conditions and can shrink or expand considerably. As a result, the iron poles included in the delivery may not immediately fit into the designated holes. In certain cases, you may need to shorten the posts a bit to size. Do not attempt to stretch the skin of the tent by force, as this increases the risk of the tarp tearing or the stitches breaking.Important information about the assembly, handling and maintenance of our historic tents:You can extend the life of your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, Knights tent, medieval tent, commercial tent or medieval market stalland enjoy its use for a longer time by observing the following precautions:
