LARP Merglin tent, natural color, 4m
Merglin LARP Tent, Group Tent, Natural Color
This functional medieval group tent provides ample space for 2 to 3 occupants (3 meters) or 4 to 5 occupants (4 meters) with their respective belongings and equipment. It's quick and easy to assemble and has the right touch for any medieval market, military camp, or LARP event. With a large internal height and a generous diameter, it offers enough space for the head and for sleeping. The sidewalls can be rolled up, which allows you to enjoy the summer weather and keep it airy on hot days, while staying well protected from heat and direct sunlight. The tent is equipped with a convenient zipper door, and the bottom edge closes completely with a grass cloth. Three sealable openings in the ceiling as well as in the side walls provide adequate ventilation.
Thanks to its particular weave (twill), the 100% cotton canvas is exceptionally tear-resistant and virtually waterproof to water.
Our LARP Merglin tent is the perfect starter model for those who want to maintain the proper atmosphere of the camp. However, please note that neither its design and construction, nor the materials used are suitable for a historically authentic representation.

Important information about assembly, handling and maintenance of our historic tents:
You can extend the life of your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, Knight's tent, medieval tent, commercial tent or medieval market stall and enjoy its use for a longer time by observing the following precautions:
Setting up the tent is a relatively easy task that can be completed quickly and stress-free thanks to the loop system. The posts can be adjusted in length to suit your needs. When assembling the tent, make sure that the ropes connecting the roof angles and the stakes continuously follow the lines of the tent seams and that the stakes are properly aligned with the bottom corners or loops of the tent. Do not overstretch the ropes , as natural materials such as wood or cotton change under the influence of air humidity and need room to contract and expand. You can prevent, for example, the roof holes for the poles from being distended and ultimately making it easier for water to enter. We recommend loosening the ropes a little at night, as the humidity in the air increases considerably at night and can increase the risk of excessive stress exerted on your tent. The ropes should also be loosened a little in rain or high atmospheric humidity.
When assembling the side wall, it is best to start from the opening side of the tent. As an additional preventive measure against moisture and mold, the walls of the tent should not touch the ground as much as possible (this does not apply to tents with tarpaulin). If the tent has been exposed to moisture, we strongly recommend that you dry it after use, as otherwise it is likely to mold. Wooden poles should never be wrapped in plastic or anything like that. Once the poles are dry, a cotton cloth is perfectly sufficient. Do not, under any circumstances, use detergents or any other cleaning products to clean your tent. The best way to remove dried dirt is to use a brush. As for storing your tent for a long period of time, separate all the accessories (stakes, ropes, etc.) from the tent itself and preferably pack everything separately. Make sure all items are dry and stored in a dry place.
Delivery includes all the necessary accessories for the proper assembly and attachment of the tent. Details

All measurements are approximate and may differ from the actual product supplied. The tents are handmade, which gives them an authentic look on the one hand, but can also result in one or two minor defects on the other hand. Cotton is a natural material that reacts differently depending on various outdoor conditions and can shrink or expand considerably. Therefore, the iron poles included in the delivery may not immediately fit into the designated holes. In certain cases, you may need to shorten the posts a bit to size. Please do not try to stretch the skin of the tent by force, as this increases the risk of the tarp tearing or the stitches breaking.
