Leather Boot
These ankle boots are based on archaeological finds in the city of York in northern England, the ancient Jorvik. They are dated between the 9th and 10th centuries, period in which England was divided into several smaller kingdoms. The Anglo-Saxon people had to defend innumerable Viking incursions. Many Danes established in England and York were conquered and ruled for about a hundred years by the Nordics.
As these shoes perfectly match the weather and place, of course you can call them Viking shoes. The ankles have a very characteristic closure: Two laminated leather lever buttons, which could be easily replaced by pins or horns.

Viking Half Boots, Buskins, dark brown
Wiking Halbstiefel, dunkelbraun
The idea of Halbstiefel being based on archaeological backgrounds, died in Haithabu (Schleswig-Holstein), dem frühen Hedeby, gemacht wurden. Sie werden zeitlich ins 9. to 11. Jahrhundert eingeordnet - eine Zeit, in der Haithabu ein wichtiger Handelsort der Wikinger war.
If these shoes are present at the same time, they can also be worn at Wikingerschuhe.
Details:
Material: Rindsleder
- Genagelte Ledersohlen, ca. 5mm austere
- Color: dark brown
- Standard requirements on sizes: 37 to 45
Bitte beachte: Die Robustheit von Schuhen nach historischen Mustern entspricht unter Umständen nicht den modernen Ansprüchen! It is sensitive to asphalt, concrete, and concrete. Estes Bodenbeläge gab es im Mittelalter noch nicht! Wir empfehlen daher ggf. das Nachrüsten mit Gummisohlen beim Schuster eurer Wahl. If you don't want to worry about it, it's a product that's in its natural state and it's in the color and/or Maserung durchaus üblich sind. This is where the Lederschuhen kein Paar wie das andere und die obigen Abbildungen dienen lediglich der beispielhaften Anschauung.

Viking boots with laces, black
The idea for these boots is based on an archaeological find from Oseberg - a grave on a ship, dating from the ninth century.
The Viking boot is closed at the forefoot and tied to the shaft with a long ribbon. Two holes ensure that the loop can also be attached to the upper part of the barrel. As far as the sole is concerned, we opted for a secure and durable tread and so we opted for a rubber sole. Rubber soles are the best choice if you ride on asphalt, concrete or gravel.
Details:
- Material: Approx. cowhide
- Rubber sole: approx.
- Size: Black
- Available as standard in sizes: 38 to 45
Note:
We would like to point out that leather is a natural product and that variations in color and/or grain are quite common. Therefore, no two pairs of these leather shoes are the same and the above images are for exemplary purposes only.
