Viking Sword Ulfberht
Before the Ulfberht swords, most European swords were of the standard soldier type. Soft iron bars were welded with steel strips,
forged in the shape of a blade, then a steel blade was welded to the sword. The Ulfberht sword was a great leap in technology and design.

In the high Middle Ages, Viking swords began to lose some of their most characteristic features, such as the wide, tapered blade and the fist with lobes. Viking swords began to look more like the long swords characteristic of the Middle Ages.

This fully functional sword is an exact replica of the iconic sword of Henry V. A relatively short weapon with a slightly hollow blade sharpened from the factory. It is beautifully balanced with a hollow button like the original and decorated in gold with red enamel crosses stamped on each side. Includes quality leather sheath and belt. Measurements: 86 cm

This Dirk is hand-forged. Delivery includes wooden sheath with leather wrap and typical accessories.
