Replica fully ready for the battle of a medieval kettle hat. Kettle hats emerged in the 13th century and were very popular with cavalry until the 15th century. The kettle hat was a precursor to the sallet (Schaller) that was developed in the late 15®th century. The thickness of the material is about 2 mm, up to 6 mm in the overlaps. In the helmet cap four brackets overlap that are arranged very decoratively in the form of cross. The kettle hat consists of two steel strips of the face, to which the leather straps with buckle are riveted.

Very authentic reconstruction of a medieval beard helmet. The original of this helmet is displayed at the Musée de l'Armèe in Paris. It is engraved with a seal from the Lombardtown of Missaglia, where it was probably made between 1460 and 1470 AD.
This reconstruction was done by the craft and strictly follows the example. It has the same fine cut, the same pronounced comb and decorated rivets. The helmet has a high-class adjustable leather inlay and is covered with leather inside.
