Mirella Medieval Velvet Hood, Red
This velvet hood or gugel is made of 100% velvet cotton and lined with a lightweight cotton fabric. The hood ends at a long breakpoint or tail (also called a liripipe) and is cut wider around the head so it can be pulled deep into the face or bent if necessary. Closes with small round buttons to prevent the user from spoiling the hairstyle by putting it on or removing it. Usually, however, only one or two buttons were attached to the neck, or the gugel was used completely open.

In the High Middle Ages, it became an integral part of the daily clothing of the commoners and was worn by peasants, craftsmen, travelers and the like. The 14th century brought some changes in the design of the gugel, which became fairer and often adorned with ornate ornaments. But by the early 16th century, it had fallen out of fashion and was rarely used.

Velvet corset, black
The corsets that form emerged in the 16th century and were part of the underwear. They had straps and gave the upper body a V shape.
I'm 18 years old. The desired silhouette has changed over the centuries. The hourglass shape was modern and the corset came strapless.
Corsets are characterized by their extremely modeling properties. They are stiff and are always associated with underwear.
Corsages (also known as corsets) are less rigid and are generally used in a visible way.

Our corsage is made of red velvet and has cotton lining. The longitudinal seams are reinforced with rods. These create a wonderfully feminine silhouette when tied up. The bodice has metal hooks at the front and lashing at the back, which makes it much easier when it comes to dressing. First the loop is loosened, then the hooks are closed and now the loop is tightened at the waist.
An overlap in the center of the back covers the gap that would otherwise remain open with the loop. The lace is slightly elastic, which is very beneficial for tying and wearing comfort. In general, this bouquet is extraordinarily comfortable and a real gem.

The velvet bodice goes well with matching blouse and skirt or on loose dress. Anyone who does not insist on an authentic corset can complete their costume of pirate, squire, witch or noble with this bodice.

Medieval change dress Burglinde w. Trumpet sleeves, black
Medieval Shift Burglinde Dress with Trumpet Sleeves, BlackThis medieval loose-cut dress, length to the floor, is made of light cotton. The skirt piece is adjusted with lateral buds (wedge-shaped/triangular pieces of fabric), allowing for a generous opening. It has a wide neckline to be hidden under the outer piece at neck level. The sleeves feature a loop for individual adjustment. At first quite tight on the upper arm, they fall into a particularly wide enlargement that gives them their characteristic trumpet shape. This change can be worn under an overcoat, a cotehardie or a blaut.Outer clothing and chemises or shirts with substantially wide sleeves appeared around the twelfth century. They were not only used for fashion purposes, but also as a symbol of higher social status, as the wide sleeves were not suitable for the working classes. In the 12th/13th century, men and women wore plain shirts with trumpet sleeves as underwear to better preserve their increasingly fitted, often richly adorned outer garments. The change usually did not appear under the outer clothing as it would be considered inappropriate. Twelfth-century illustrations of wide sleeves can be found, among others, in the fresco showing Sant'Elena in the basilica of San Lorenzo in Milan or in the illuminated encyclopedia Hortus Peliciarum(circa 1180).In the 15th century, changes with trumpet sleeves could also be worn under a short-sleeved cotehardie (a tight dress or kirtle with loops or a button clasp in the center of the front) and therefore should be visible as an integral part of the garment. Historical illustrations of wide-sleeves from this period can be found, for example, in Gerard David's painting Madonna with Angels and Saints.Details:- Available sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL- Color: black (also available: blue, natural color)- Material: 100% cotton- Total length size M: approx. 150 cm (measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the lower sheath)- Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C, gentle cycle, do not dry in the machine

Medieval Dress Gesine, Canvas, Green
This medieval floor-length dress with 3/4 long sleeves is made of sturdy cotton fabric (canvas) and slightly adjusted. The strong canvas fabric creates a sturdy, heavy dress that is therefore more suitable for spring and fall (or for winter, when combined with season-appropriate underwear).Contrasting edges of colors and filled cord make the dress really stand out from the crowd. It has partition seam just below the waist and pockets hidden in the side seams. The skirt part has a wide flare and is made without gores (wedge-shaped pieces of fabric).Following the fashion of the early Middle Ages, this outer garment is quite loose and shows only a little of the waist. Therefore, we recommend that you combine it with a leather belt. This dress is ideal for depicting women of the lower and middle classes from the early to the high Middle Ages, and historically fits – among others – into the era of the Franks, Slavs and Vikings.
