The Morion is an open helmet that was developed in the 16th century.
These helmets were mainly worn by infantry men and pickets, then also by domestic troops and city clocks. Still the pope's bodyguards, the Swiss guards are using Morions.

The helmet has a comfortable and adjustable leather lining and a strong chin strap with buckle.
The coating is fixed by steel rivets.
