Tinker Sword - Blunt
Tinker Longswords (Oakeshott Type XVIIIa) provide the WMA practitioner with a pair of quick and balanced swords that they will perform beautifully in experienced hands.

Sparring blunts have a longer time to balance thicker edges and a flattened tip section to provide the flexibility needed for safety. Perfume-smelling flat pommel (Type T-1) forms a natural two-way grip extension and square section protection (Type 2) provides solid safety. The wooden grip is coated with leather on the handle, with steel fittings. A leather covered hem is included.

Persian Scimitar
The original scimitar was called shamshir (meaning " lion's tail ") and had a highly curved blade that almost formed a semicircle. Developed in Persia, this type of blade was effective for making trailing cuts, but otherwise its usefulness was limited. This caused the blade to change shape to get a more useful version like the one in our project.
This is a beautiful and romantic sword from the Hank Reinhardt collection. The blade was quite effective in cutting and chopping, and the tip was quite useful in pushing the "hook". Manufactured from high carbon steel by Windlass Steelcrafts ®. The handle is made of wood and the protection and scabbard are made of steel.
The scabbard has a middle throat, neck, and metal tip.
