This katana is a decorative interpretation of the sword that Tanjiro Kamado wields in the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.It has approx. 67.5 cm long, slightly sharpened blade made of high-carbon steel. Her tsuka is wrapped in a black band of imitation leather and lined with imitation red lightning skin. Its tuba is painted black and is shaped like a wheel with many spokes. The black-coated saya is made of wood.Tanjiro's Nichirin BladeTanjiro teamed up with the Demon Slayers in the anime/manga to find the demon that killed his family and turned his younger sister Nezuko into a demon.After passing the selection process, Tanjiro was allowed to choose the material from which his Nichirin Sword (Solar Blade) would be forged. These are special blades made exclusively for the Demon Slayer Corps by highly skilled blacksmiths. They are made from scarlet sand and ore found on Mount Yoko. These materials were perpetually bathed in sunlight, giving them the ability to kill demons.
