Connor MacLeod is a fictional character in the Highlander multiverse.Connor Mac Leod's sword is a katana. Connor took the katana from Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, which he had probably kept since the death of his friend and mentor in 1547 (in the hands of the Kurgan).The sword was utterly unique: an ivory-handled steel katana with a carved dragon's head and ornate golden hilt. Even the solid red scabbard was adorned with gold. Brenda Wyatt noted that the complexity of blade forging was centuries ahead of its time.It was made by the legendary blacksmith Masamune as a wedding gift for Ramirez when he married his daughter Shikiko. Ramirez valued the sword (as he valued his wife), noting that the weapon was "unique, like his daughter [Shikiko]."During The Gathering in 1985, Connor used the sword in battle, successfully defeating the Kurgan (in their final battle) and claiming the prize. The sword remained in his possession for the next ten years, until the blade was broken by the reappearance of the Immortal Kane. Connor returned to Scotland, where he was able to forge a new blade with the help of Dr. Alex Johnson. Stormbreaker is an enchanted hammeraxe used by Thor. It was forged in Uru, in the heart of a dying star in Nidavellir. Eitri claimed that the weapon was the strongest weapon in the history of Asgard.During the conflict with Thanos, Thor ventured into Nidavellir with Rocket Raccoon and the teenage Groot to forge Thor's new weapon. Upon arriving, Nidavellir's typically animated forges were cold and barren, littered with broken parts. The initially frightened Dwarf King Eitri met with his old friend and explained that the dwarves had been all but extinct and their hands had been fused with metal as a result of Thanos' request for the Infinity Gauntlet's forgery.With the help of Thor and Rocket Raccoon, Eitri rekindled the dying star and rekindled the forge, melting down Uru ingots and pouring them into a mold. He then broke the mold, revealing the blade and weight of the axe, but lost the handle of the weapon. Seeing that Thor was near death after receiving the power of the dying star, Groot decided that he could not wait for Eitri to find or create a metal handle; he grabbed the red-hot pieces of metal with one arm (causing Groot considerable pain) and then cut off the arm to serve as a handle, truly finishing the Stormbreaker. The weapon then revived the smoldering shell of Thor, who used the power of the Bifrost to make his way to Wakanda and help his fellow Avengers.Stormbreaker was used in the Battle of Wakanda to great effect, massively increasing Thor's own lightning bolts. It was, notably, the only weapon that caused any noticeable damage to Thanos during the entire conflict: Thor impaled Thanos using it shortly after Thanos completed the Infinity Gauntlet; however, he intentionally aimed at the chest in order to be able to brag about Thanos, resulting in Thanos only severely injured instead of killed instantly, which proved to be a fatal mistake that Thor would soon deeply regret, as the blow failed to stop Thanos from activating the Infinity Gauntlet, destroy half the universe, and escape, with the wound closing shortly after Thanos activates the Gauntlet. Only Odin was above him and more feared. He was the son of Aesir Odin and the human Jörd, and thus the blood of Asgard and Midgard flows through him. Thor's realm in Asgard is called Thrudvangr. There he lived with his wife Sif in the largest palace in Asgard, "Bilskirnir".Thor's most famous weapon was his divine hammer "Mjölnir", which was the source of his power.
