Kragelund Askur Medieval Tunic, Long Sleeve, Black
Medieval Kragelund Askur Tunic, BlackThe look and cut of this tunic are based on archaeological finds dating back to the 11th century. However, it is not an individual reproduction.Nederfrederiksmose Man, also known as <,i>Kragelund Man or Fredriksdal Man, was found in 1898 near the town of Kragelund, Denmark. It was the first bog body photographically documented at the site of discovery. He wore a tunic, short leather boots, and bare-legged.Our knee-length tunic is made of sturdy cotton canvas and adorned with hand-sewn ornamental stitches. It is elaborately finished and designed as an outer garment. So-called buds (wedge-shaped pieces of fabric) inserted into the front and back center panels and side seams give the tunic a beautiful shine from the hip down. The unconventional tailoring of the sleeves shows the combination of wide arms and regular forearms. This tunic is ideal for the portrait of the Nordics. For an authentic look, we recommend that you wear it with a leather belt.Details:- Available sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL- Color: Black (also available: olive green, wine red)- Material: 100% cotton- Total length size L: approx. 119 cm(measured from the center of the neck to the bottom hem)- Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C, gentle cycle, do not tumble dry

Shoulder leather made of Nordic sheepskin, stained white
Shoulder leather made of Nordic sheepskin, stained whiteAs winter approached and the Viking nights became longer and darker again, it was time to prepare. After long raids in search of food and wealth, the men returned to their villages to spend the winter and spread the story of their triumphs.Even the Vikings of that era had to wrap up warm enough, as we know it today, to avoid falling victim to the cold. But what options did they have?Animal skin, which today is more of a decorative accessory found on the floor, was a very popular feature in medieval times. Especially in winter, furs were probably a warming marvel. But even when the days got longer again and the sun came out more often, furs could still be used, for example, as a seat cushion to make a chair or bench more comfortable. This shoulder skin is perfect for getting closer to a wild warrior or a brave Viking. Whether at a Viking festival or in a medieval market, with this shoulder leather no cold will get in the way.As our skins are natural products, small variations in color, length or hair size are completely normal. They are untreated and therefore chemical-free. Due to the adapted shape of the shoulders and neck, there are no folds and the hair does not protrude. So nothing stands in the way of the next big event!Details:- Hair length: approx. 10 - 15 cm- Color: Spotted white

Viking Tunic, Viborg Reconstruction, Red Wine
The appearance and cut of this tunic are based on an archaeological find dating back to the 11th century. In 1984, during excavations in Viborg (Denmark), a bundle of fabric glued to canvas was discovered. As it turned out, these were individual fragments that could be put together to form a tunic. Only the back and sleeves have not been preserved in their entirety and leave a bit of room for interpretation. The tunic has a very elaborate and unique cut for the time. The upper part of the fuselage is worked in two layers at the front and back and has a rectangle from which the seams protrude diagonally. The neckline is equipped with two slits and drawstrings. The arm ball is cut straight and is complemented by a reinforcement in the armpit area. The sleeve is made up of a total of three pieces of pattern and tapers towards the hem. The side seams are slit, with the back reaching a few inches above the front, covering the top of the slit. Our cotton tunic is a unique reconstruction of the Viborg tunic of the Middle Ages. We place special emphasis on the correct cut of the dividing seams, the finishing in the details and the correct proportions. We have slightly lengthened the total length of the torso and sleeves for aesthetic reasons. Thus, our Viking tunic has long sleeves and the hem ends at the thigh height. The elaborate tunic can be worn as both an upper and lower tunic. The fabric (100% cotton) is medium firm and double-layered in the torso area. The tunic is the perfect cloak for all Nordics. For an authentic outfit, we recommend pairing it with a belt, calf wraps, and ear pants.Details:- Available sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL- Color: Wine red (also available: natural, green, dark blue)- Material: 100% cotton- Total length in size L: approx. 100 cm (measured in the center of the back)- Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C, gentle cycle, not suitable for tumble drying

Cover of the Order of the Hospitaller Knights
At the Council of Troyes in 1128, the Order of the Temple was recognized by Pope Honorius II. Knights received the white robe as a symbol of the purity of his life, which Pope Eugenius added to the Red Cross in 1146. King Baldwin II, king of Jerusalem, installed in the Order in an area of the Jerusalem palace believed to be the temple of Solomon, who bear the name of the Knights Templar or Templars. Orders of battle for the defense of the Holy Land are legendary, as it is still a wealth accumulated mystery losses.

copy of Viking Tunic, Viborg Reconstruction, Red Wine
