Shoulder skin, black Berserker skin cape
Shoulder skin, Berserker Black leather capeAs winter approached and the Viking nights became longer and darker again, it was time to prepare. After long raids in search of food and riches, the men returned to their villages to spend the winter and spread the story of their triumphs.Even the Vikings of that time had to bundle up enough, as we know it today, to avoid falling victim to the cold. But what options did they have?Animal skin, which today is more of a decorative accessory found on the floor, was a very popular feature in medieval times. Especially in winter, furs were probably a warming wonder. But even as the days got longer again and the sun came out more often, furs could still be used, for example, as a seat cushion to make a chair or bench more comfortable. This shoulder skin is perfect for getting closer to a savage warrior or a brave Viking. Whether it's a Viking festival or a medieval market, with this shoulder skin no cold will get in the way.As our skins are natural products, slight variations in hair colour, length or size are completely normal. They are untreated and therefore chemical-free. Due to the adapted shape of the shoulders and neck, there are no folds and the hair does not bulge. So there's nothing stopping the next big event!

Bernhard Medieval Gibbon with Braided Cords, Black
This body-hugging doublet is made of cotton twill and features contrasting details. The central front is closed with a wine red Nestlé ribbon. There are also snap bands at the sleeve hem and attached neckline. With the snap straps on the neckline, the gaiters can be attached directly to the doublet. This doublet is lined with a lightweight, contrasting cotton fabric. There's nothing else, it's a doublet.

The tight-fitting doublet appeared in the High Middle Ages and replaced the long, baggy tunic. It is used with a hose or combined leggings, where the garment is attached directly to the doublet.
Typical features of a doublet are a fastened neckline, a tight fit to the body, a small high collar, and a central or buttoned front button. The doublet was initially worn as a turtleneck jacket. During the Renaissance, the neckline became deeper and the doublet became more richly decorated.
A light shirt or waistcoat was usually worn under the doublet.

Medieval Dress with Belt, Bliaut Konstanze, dark blue
This floor-length medieval dress has a loose fit and comes with a belt. The fine cotton fabric and the contrasting details of the cotton satin give this dress a particularly elegant look. The sleeves are also in a contrasting color on the inside and can be worn rolled up.

The cut of the dress is typical of Bliaut (or Bliaud) and is based on the fashion of the eleventh to thirteenth centuries. The bliaut was originally a noble and courtly outer garment made of light fabrics and with wide trumpet sleeves. This form of format made it clear to everyone that they came from a higher class, as they were inconvenient in everyday work. Over time, this style of dress also took hold among the bourgeoisie, but usually with narrow-cut sleeves or a knot tied at the hem of the sleeve. The Bliaut was not only worn by women, men also wore this outer garment, albeit at the knees.
Bliaut's features include wide sleeves, fine fabrics, and a wide skirt. The sleeves of the trumpet sometimes took on exaggerated shapes and sometimes reached all the way to the floor. Usually the bliaut was combined with a veil and a belt.

Depictions of a Bliaut of the time can be found, for example, in the fresco Sant'Elena in the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Milan and in the Hortus Deliciarum, an encyclopedic work from the late twelfth century.
