To create these beautiful leg armor, we took inspiration directly from an existing pair of legs belonging to the young Charles VI of France, preciously preserved in the French city of Chartres and dated from about 1380-90.
Its form of historical inspiration and even the large wings that defends its knee add an additional touch of precision to any 14th-century French armor.

This wearable, fully articulated reconstruction of a late medieval plate armor for the arms is made of 1.2mm (18 gauge) steel and blackened on the inside for better corrosion resistance. It is intended to protect the forearms, elbows and upper arms, and features the typical multilayered appearance of Gothic plate armor from the late Middle Ages (19th century). XV/XVI).Arm protection consists of a couter or cowter (also known as an elbow pad), a vambrace or lower cannon, and a rerebrrace or upper cannon.
