The Celts were a series of tribes that originated in Central Europe during the Iron Age. They later spread across Europe to the east of the Balkan Peninsula and climbed towards Ireland. Occupying much of these areas until about 275 BC, their territories were gradually usurped, conquered and occupied not only by the expanding Romans, but also by the Germanic peoples, leaving them mainly in the British Isles and Ireland.
Skilled craftsmen, the Celts have developed various kinds of patterns used throughout their culture to decorate all kinds of everyday objects such as pottery, jewelry, fabrics, as well as weapons and even monuments. The Celtic style, which is characterized mainly by animals-like intertwined creatures, spiral patterns and a variety of braids and knots, even spread into many enlightened Christian manuscripts whose illustrators were inspired by ancient Celtic pagan art.
This sturdy and finely crafted belt is made of 3 mm thick brown cow leather and equipped with a beautiful old-fashioned brass buckle attached to the belt with two brass rivets. Approx. The 170 cm long and 4 cm wide handle is gourd with a Celtic-style braids/knotdesign and features 18 holes with reinforcing brass eyelets. Thus, it can be adjusted to a wide range of sizes for a comfortable and personalized fit (suitable for a waist circumference between approximately 70 and 120 cm).
The belt buckle is adorned with twin snakes with knots or dragons facing each other, a recurring motif in Celtic and Nordic/Viking art.
Due to its design, this leather belt is not only an elegant addition to any Celtic garment, but also suitable for the early Middle Ages and Viking era settings. When ordering a single item, the postage has a fixed value of €30, prices only for Mainland Portugal and Islands and Peninsular Spain. You must always indicate a telephone contact number to avoid non-receipt of your order.

Due to the specificity of the items sold by Loja Rei das Espadas, returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:
- The product sent is damaged by proven manufacturing defect.

All items are shipped in perfect condition. If you receive any damaged item and that is justified, you can return it. We will send an identical article in good condition. You can request a return by email. The customer has 14 days to return the item.
