Civil Guard Officer of Sword Assembly "Model 1844"
This model 1844 mounting sword is included in the Spanish weapons group, where the shield armed by the initials GC reproduces the emblem of a body, with a garrison of three falcons manufactured specifically for Civil Guard officers.

Consequently, the "model mount sword of 1844 for the civil guard officer" was one of the first melee weapons of the Civil Guard Corps manufactured at the prestigious Toledo White Weapons Factory.

The officers of the Civil Guard Cavalry units were gifted, continuing the custom of the time, with an exclusive model of a riding sword. The use of the riding sword was complemented by the waist in the acts of walking.
