Our elaborately crafted velvet jacket has a fair cut and is lined with lightweight cotton fabric. All seams are reinforced with cotton ribbon and the added bottom hem has several slits for a comfortable fit that is particularly flattering for the hips.
The jacket has several loops (in the center of the front, at the side seams, at the fold of the arm and on the shoulders) that allow an individual and personalized fit to the body. The sleeves are fully detachable – just untie the top laces and the jacket turns into bodice or bodice. We recommend opening only the central front shoelace, so you can slide and pass the shoelaces to close.
Due to its design and cut, this jacket can be historically attributed to the late Middle Ages. It blends equally well with a dress or with a round skirt and blouse.
In relation to the fabric, it can be added that velvet emerged in the Mediterranean of the fourteenth century and was woven predominantly in Italy. Velvet garments were luxury items, not only because of the complexity of the craftsmanship involved in their production, but also because the fabric was originally made of silk. Velvet was a very popular fabric in Burgundy fashion during the Renaissance period.

Cotton velvet should not be washed in the machine to avoid irreversible creases. Ironing should also be avoided at all costs, as this will crush the pile. To remove light stains, we recommend using a clothes brush to gently brush the stained area in the direction of the hair. For larger stains, it is advisable that the jacket be dry washed by a professional.

How to find the right size:
- To take measurements of your body correctly to determine the size of the always wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the body at the widest part.
- For tops, the sizes are based on the circumference of your chest.

When ordering a single item, the postage has a fixed value of €30, prices only for Mainland Portugal and Islands and Peninsular Spain. You must always indicate a telephone contact number to avoid non-receipt of your order.

Due to the specificity of the items sold by Loja Rei das Espadas, returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:
- The product sent is damaged by proven manufacturing defect.
- The characteristics of the product sent do not correspond to those described in the Online-Store
All items are shipped in perfect condition. If you receive any damaged item and that is justified, you can return it. We will send an identical article in good condition. You can request a return by email. The customer has 14 days to return the item.
