Medieval Alvina dress,
This long medieval dress is made of sturdy cotton fabric. It is loosely adapted and can be tightened with laces on both sides for an individual fit. The color-contrasted sleeves and bottom bar create the impression of a change worn under a short-sleeved dress. The neckline and sleeves are cut with embroidery.
The appearance and cut of the dress follow the 12th century fashion, around which this type of clothing, also called bliaut (or bliaud), was becoming popular. The bliaut, which could range from calf length to the floor, was characterized by a side tie, a wide skirt and trumpet sleeves. It was also often adorned with embellishments.
Historical illustrations of bliauts can be found, among others, in the Hortus Deliciarum at the end of the 12th century.

How to find the right size:
To make the body measurements correctly, in order to determine the size of the clothing, always wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the body, in the widest part. For tops, the sizes are based on the circumference of the chest.
If you stand between two sizes, we recommend that you increase.

When ordering a single item, the postage has a fixed value of €30, prices only for Mainland Portugal and Islands and Peninsular Spain. You must always indicate a telephone contact number to avoid non-receipt of your order.

DELIVERY
Orders are generally shipped within 2 to 12 working days depending on the items chosen through CTT or Transport Agency after receipt of payment.

Due to the specificity of the items sold by Loja Rei das Espadas, returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:
- The product sent is damaged by proven manufacturing defect.
- The characteristics of the product sent do not correspond to those described in the Online-Store
All items are shipped in perfect condition. If you receive any damaged item and that is justified, you can return it. We will send an identical article in good condition. You can request a return by email. The customer has 14 days to return the item.
Returns of products subject to special, personalized or made-to-measure orders are not accepted.

- We recommend sending the product by an insured carrier. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused to the product during transport.
