This tunic is ideal for portraying many peoples of Central and Northern Europe, from the Migration Period (Völkerwanderung) to the High Middle Ages.
It is made of cotton fabric and finished with a border/braid applied at the neckline. The boundary plaiting pattern is based on the archaeological discovery B23 of Birka. The round neckline has a slit at the front. The split neck can be worn open or closed with fibula or brooch, according to your preferences. The so-called gums (wedge-shaped pieces of fabric) inserted into the side seams give the tunic a beautiful enlargement of the hip down. As the front and rear panels have a slit in the middle, the tunic is also suitable for horse riding.
For an authentic look, we recommend that you wear this tunic with a leather belt.
