(MAA) Gothic Apple
(MAA) Gothic Apple
The medieval man of arms was a robust and reliable fighter who exhibited great martial dexterity with a variety of weapons. He was
the veteran of many conflicts and was often first in the fray. To honor these rugged, salty warriors of The Earth, Cold Steel
created a range of true journeyman weapons called man at arms collection.
These battle-ready weapons may not have the polished silver steel of Cold Steel's high-end weapons, but they are quite similar in
quality and performance. And when well oiled, they are scintillatingly beautiful by themselves.
The Man at Arms collection features a selection of some of Cold Steel's best products, but at a very low price. If you
always wanted a piece of cold steel, but could not afford one, this collection is made for you.
Cold Steel is proud to add this attractive German-style apple to the historic-inspired Man at Arms line.
This modern interpretation of a classic Gothic apple is handmade 1055 high carbon steel. It has a thick wall,
Hollow steel handle and a weight apple to counterbalance the heavy crushing head of the apple's helmet.
Designed to take on armored enemies, the MAA Gothic Mace features six steel flanges. Each is profiled and tapered to reduce
weight, but also to add "bite" on top of the impact, crumpling and crushing even the strongest plate armor, while the shot spiked in the
crown allows the apple to be used as a buoyancy tool. Wielded with one or two hands, the Gothic Handle is light enough to
Use with speed but strong enough to block, trim and of course give a crushing blow!
Richly thick to a deep black finish with a hand-sewn leather strap, this good-looking apple is sure to be an exciting
in addition to the collection of any Historical European Martial Artist, Historical Reenactor or weapons enthusiast.
