This very authentic reconstruction of the German Sallet dated around 1490 is driven from 1.6 mm (approx. 16 gauge) thick steel sheet.The visor is fixed with beautiful, hand-forged rivets.It is locked by a pin mounted in the lowest stage.The helmet has a comfortable leather liner and a solid chinstrap with buckle.
