 Freemasonry is an institution or of a discreet, non-religious, philanthropic, symbolic and philosophical institution based on a sense of brotherhood.

Its purpose is to seek truth through reason and promote the intellectual and moral development of man, as well as social progress.

Masons are organized into structures called base stores, which in turn can be grouped into a top-level organization.
