In the Middle Ages, large helmets with a more tapered bowl were also called Sugarloaf helmets because of their resemblance to a sugar loaf. This form gained popularity in the early 14th century.
The rudder is handmade in 1.6 mm thick steel. It is equipped with a comfortable leather lining, adjustable in height and equipped with a chin strap.
