Greek hoplite corinthian steel helmet with 18 gauge leather lining
Are you a fan of the Spartans and their unwavering courage, just like us? Our Corinthian Greek helmet is the right fit for you! This legendary helmet is handmade 20 gauge soft steel, making it ideal for cosplaying the powerful Spartans and will be a great decorative accessory for your old décor.
It was the favorite helmet of most of the heavy armor lancers of the Greek Hoplites during the archaic period and the beginning of the classical period, and even the famous Athenian leader, Pericles, was depicted wearing it. Later, it gave way to lighter forms of helmets that prevented less the sighting and hearing of hoplite, but continued to be worn in a slightly modified way by the Italians as the "Italian-Corinthian" helmet until the rise of the Roman Empire.
Our Corinthian helmet is lined with a comfortable and secure leather lining. A circumference of approx. 68 cm makes almost all head sizes fit. And a sturdy chin strap closed with a beautiful buckle will help keep your helmet in place throughout your battle.

Nasal helmet Saint Wenceslaus with leather lining caliber 16
Our St. Wenceslas helmet is directly inspired by a richly decorated 10th-century original, currently exhibited in Prague, probably the oldest nasal helmet ever found.
For centuries, the nasal helmet has been the most popular helmet in most of Europe due to its versatility and good balance between protection and mobility. For example, it proved to be ubiquitous in the Bayeux tapestry, representing the invasion of Saxon England by the Norman knights and minions of William the Conqueror. Speaking of whom, a specific incident at the Battle of Hastings, illustrated in the Bayeux tapestry, reveals how William the Conqueror had to lift his nasal helmet to show his troops that he was still alive after the rumor of his death spread in his army.
This gorgeous nasal helmet is handmade in soft steel of 16 caliber, lined with a comfortable and secure leather lining. A circumference of approximately 68 cm makes it fit into almost all head sizes. And a sturdy closed chin strap with a beautiful buckle will help keep your helmet in place during all your battles.
Just pair it with one of our mesh quota hoods (sold separately) and you'll get a great combination for your next LARP or reconstitution! It can be used by a variety of characters, from humble archers to powerful Norman knights!
