They were usually stamped with the cross denoting the knight fighting for the liberation of Jerusalem.

with an appropriate robe. They wanted the typical cross to be seen that symbolized the
teutonic orders to fight for the liberation of Jerusalem.

Our tabards have a loose cut and are made following historical examples.
The cross is arranged on the left side above the heart. The tabard is cut into the
front and back.

The Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem has its origins until 1070, when a group of Italian marketers built a hospital in Jerusalem to care for pilgrims.When the Templars' growing popularity, the Monks warrior Hospitalries decide to change to get the donations they received military orders, although they never left their welfare and charitable duties.In 1306 they invaded the island of Rhodes and established their sedee there. They later moved to the island of Malta, where they continued to maintain the independence of their state and became known as "The Knights of Malta".

This calf-to-calf tunic is made of sturdy cotton fabric. It is cut straight and has side slits from the waist down, as well as slightly shorter slits in the center of the front and back. It presents on its chest the cross of the Hospitalries (cross of Malta).
