German Alabarda
It was used with great success as an infantry weapon, from the end of the Middle Ages to the 17th century.
It was his well-deserved reputation that many troops or elite nobility used "flashy" versions, with some military entities, which are using these days in public demonstrations and military parades and ceremonial weapons. Today, the Vatican's Swiss Guard uses this weapon not only ceremonial, but are also trained to use it as a weapon.

Cold steel tiger fork

In the early 1990s, Cold Steel President Lynn C. Thompson purchased a handmade Chinese tiger fork to add to her collection. He equipped it with an old wicker team and trained with him ever since.
Lynn is very fond of reading tales of hunting explorations in historical accounts and has read several stories about Chinese hunters using these gigantic tools to capture and kill big cats. He also had the pleasure of talking to (and training with) Chinese martial artists about how this tool was modified as a weapon of war and its application as a formidable combat implement.
After 20 years, Lynn finally brought her own version of the fighting tiger fork to a modern audience.

Viking Spear Point
The Viking spearhead offered here displays the narrow, pointed blade designed to pierce the mesh. The Nordic warrior often carried several light-throwing spears in combat, loaded into the shield's hand on a charge. These were launched as the distance closed, leaving the warrior free to use his sword or axe in hand-to-hand combat.

It differs from germic ger ger however. Tacitus (Germania 6) describes the equipment of the Germanic warrior as follows:
